YANGON- BAGAN- POPA-YANGON ( 5 Days/ 4 Nights )

Day 1: Arrive Myanmar

Arrive Yangon by a morning or mid-day flight. Our guide will welcome you at the airport and take you to the hotel. The afternoon tour of Yangon city includes Chauk Htatgyi, a colossal reclining Buddha; Karaweik Hall (a Royal Barge) on the Royal Lake (Kandawgyi); China town and the Shwe Dagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon – Nyaung Oo – Bagan

Transfer to Yangon airport for early morning Nyaung Oo flight; Morning tour starts with Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon Pagoda built by King Anawratha in the early 11th century; Kyansittha Umin with the 12th century mural paintings; and Gubyaukkyi Temple (at Wetkyi Inn), a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes. Then, check in at the hotel.
Afternoon tour continues with Tharaba Gate, a city gate with two spiritual guardians; Ananda Temple noted for its unique and perfect architecture; just next to Ananda is Ananda Okkyaung, a surviving brick monastery from the early Bagan period. Thatbyinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan; and Lawkananda Pagoda to enjoy the sunset. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 3: Bagan

After breakfast, visit the Kubyauk Kyi pagoda (at Myin Kabar); Myin Kabar pagoda and Manuha pagoda, built after Mon style. Continue with the lacquer ware workshop at Bagan Myo Thit.
After lunch, proceed to visit off the beaten track pagodas. Proceed to Dhama Yarzika at West Phwa Saw; Phayar Thonzu pagoda at Min Nanthu and Tayoke Pyay pagoda. On the way back, observe the finest brickwork in Dhama Yangyi pagoda and view the sunset from Pyat Thada Pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan – Popa – Bagan – Yangon

After breakfast, leave Bagan by coach for Mount Popa, an extinct volcano, which is the abode of Nats (Spirits). On top of the rocky crag, there are monasteries, pagodas and shrines in different styles; then, go back to Bagan.
Check out from the hotel to fly back to Yangon. Leisure time. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 5: Leave Myanmar

Visit Bogyoke market after breakfast. Check out from the hotel. After lunch, visit the Kaba Aye Pagoda; and the Lawka Chantha Abaya Laba Muni, marble Buddha statue on the way to the airport. Transfer to the Yangon International Airport for departure.
